The DT4100, the enhanced version of DT4000, is powered by a Cortex A7 quad core processor, running on Android 4.4, with 8GB of flash memory, and 1GB of RAM. Designed for high performance, the DT4100 delivers a fast and seamless user experience even for the memory intensive apps.

Supporting dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity, the DT4100 provides greater flexibility for system integrators to optimise the WiFi performance on site.

Unlike consumer devices, the DT4100 is designed with 2 operation modes (i.e. Admin Mode & User Mode) to prohibit program installation and setting changes by end users.

Through feature and system enhancements, the current consumption of the DT4100 has been optimised to absolute minimum levels in both operation and unattended modes; ensuring long hours of continuous operation without a need for charging.

The backup and restore feature enables system integrators to clone and install software images for mass deployment. Users will also be able to make system recovery with the backup image; saving significant resources for deployment and on-site customer support.

Other than the IP54 sealing and 1.5m drop specification, the DT4100 is built with antimicrobial materials; thus making the device an ideal choice for hospitality applications.

The hardware expansion slot allows the DT4100 to integrate with the optional 2D barcode scanner or MSR module for data capture.
